Features
Next-Generation WireGuard Protocol
Github Accelerator fully adopts the WireGuard protocol, which has only 1/100 the code of IPsec while delivering 3-5 times faster transfer speeds. The streamlined code means a smaller attack surface and enhanced security, allowing you to enjoy great speeds without worrying about privacy breaches.
Audited No-Logs Policy
Github Accelerator enforces the industry’s strictest no-logs policy — we do not record your connection times, visited sites, IP addresses, or any browsing data. This policy has been independently audited and reported by the internationally renowned security firm Cure53, ensuring every commitment is verifiable.
Millisecond-Level Smart Connections
Github Accelerator's smart routing engine monitors global node latency and load in real-time, automatically matching you with the best route. One-click connect, with latency as low as 15ms, whether for video conferencing, online gaming, or 4K streaming, you’ll enjoy a seamless experience.
Nodes in Over 80 Countries
Github Accelerator operates over 3000 high-speed servers in more than 80 countries and regions, including North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, South America, and the Middle East. Each server runs in pure RAM mode, clearing all data upon reboot, thus eliminating the possibility of data retention at the hardware level.
One Account, 6 Devices Online Simultaneously
With a single Github Accelerator account, you can protect your smartphone, computer, tablet, smart TV, and router — up to 6 devices connected at the same time, allowing the whole family to share a secure network without additional fees. After configuring the router, you can even protect IoT devices that do not support accelerator.
24/7 Professional Customer Support
Github Accelerator has a bilingual professional customer service team offering around-the-clock support. Whether it’s installation, connection issues, or account management, you can get immediate, professional assistance through online chat or email, with an average response time of under 2 minutes.
WireGuard Core Architecture
Github Accelerator has built a new routing engine based on the WireGuard protocol. WireGuard achieves full accelerator functionality with about 4000 lines of code, while traditional IPsec requires over 600,000 lines. The streamlined code implies a smaller attack surface, lower latency, and higher throughput. In our internal tests, WireGuard's handshake speed is three times faster than IKEv2 and eight times faster than IPsec.
Noise Protocol Framework Encryption
Github Accelerator's WireGuard implementation uses the Noise protocol framework for key exchange, employing Curve25519 for ECDH key negotiation, ChaCha20-Poly1305 for symmetric encryption, and BLAKE2s for hashing. This cryptographic primitive combination has been widely validated within academia and industry, providing forward-looking security against quantum computing attacks.
Smart Protocol Switching
Under certain network conditions, WireGuard’s UDP traffic may be restricted. Github Accelerator has built-in smart protocol switching, automatically detecting network conditions and seamlessly switching between WireGuard, IKEv2, and our proprietary obfuscation protocols to ensure stable connections in any environment. The entire switching process is completed within 500 milliseconds, virtually imperceptible to users.
Multi-Hop and split routing
Github Accelerator supports multi-hop connections where data can be relayed through two or more acceleration servers, providing an additional layer of privacy for users needing extreme anonymity. Meanwhile, the split routing feature allows you to decide which applications use the accelerator and which connect directly to the local network, achieving the best balance between performance and security.
AES-256-GCM Encryption Standard
Github Accelerator employs AES-256-GCM encryption mode to secure all transmitted data. AES-256 is the encryption standard approved by the US National Security Agency (NSA) for protecting classified information. Even using the most powerful supercomputers available today, it would take billions of years to crack. Each connection generates a unique session key, ensuring forward secrecy.
DNS Leak Protection
Github Accelerator runs its own private DNS server cluster, ensuring that all DNS queries are resolved through encrypted connections, eliminating the risk of DNS leaks. We also include WebRTC leak protection and IPv6 leak protection measures to ensure your true IP address is never exposed under any circumstances. You can verify your protection status using our built-in leak test tool at any time.
Kill Switch
Github Accelerator's network lock function (Kill Switch) can immediately cut off all internet traffic if the acceleration connection drops unexpectedly, preventing any data from leaking unencrypted. This feature supports both system-level and application-level modes: system-level mode protects all traffic, while application-level mode only secures specified applications, giving users maximum flexibility.
RAM-Only Pure Memory Servers
Github Accelerator's over 3000 servers run in pure RAM mode. This means there are no hard drives, and all data is processed only in memory. Each time the server is rebooted, all data is completely wiped. Even if a server is physically seized, no user data can be extracted. This is the highest standard of data protection in the industry.
4K Ultra HD Streaming Support
Github Accelerator's high-speed nodes are specially optimized to reliably support the transmission requirements of 4K Ultra HD (2160p) video streams. Whether it's HD movies, live sports events, or music videos, Github Accelerator ensures a stable, smooth, and buffer-free viewing experience. On gigabit broadband, connection speeds can consistently exceed 500Mbps.
Gaming Acceleration and Low Latency
Github Accelerator is specifically optimized for online gaming. Our smart routing engine automatically selects routes with the lowest latency to game servers. In our tests, the latency to Asia-Pacific game servers can be as low as 10ms, and as low as 60ms to North American servers. The DDoS protection feature prevents you from suffering malicious attacks during gaming.
P2P and Torrent Download Optimization
Github Accelerator has enabled P2P optimization features on nodes in over 30 countries. We do not restrict BitTorrent and other P2P protocols in terms of bandwidth or speed, while also protecting your download activities from ISP monitoring and throttling through encrypted connections. The port forwarding feature enhances seeding efficiency and supports faster upload speeds.
Smart Content Acceleration Technology
Github Accelerator's exclusive SmartRoute technology intelligently identifies the type of content you are accessing and automatically selects the most optimized transmission path. It switches to streaming-optimized nodes while watching videos, to high-bandwidth nodes when downloading files, and prioritizes low-latency nodes while browsing. The entire process is fully automated, requiring no manual intervention.
